Our First Christmas in Brazil

This year, we held our very first “Christmas in their Hands, Heaven in their Hearts” outreaches in Brazil. Our team went into two of the darkest and most dangerous favelas in Rio bringing the real meaning of Christmas, Jesus Christ! We saw precious children call on the name of Jesus, many for the very first time! We also saw several children and adults receive healing miracles in their bodies! And at the end, we were able to give away food baskets to some of the poorest of the poor and every child received a brand new toy!

Over 1,200 children and 400 adults heard the Gospel! 50 families received food baskets and every child received a brand new toy!

We originally had planned to hold our “Christmas in their Hands, Heaven in their Hearts” outreaches in the communities of Northern Brazil. Because of COVID, we had to bring Jesus to these families in a different way.

Our team went door-to-door bringing Christmas to needy families.

They delivered food and Christmas presents from the back of our trucks but most importantly they shared the truth of Jesus and His great love which is truly the greatest gift of all!

We brought Christmas to five of the most desperate communities. Over 200 children and adults prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord!

Listen to this story from our LI USA team member, Jamie Sivak, as she shares about an experience in Brazil that she will never forget!

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped to bring “Christmas in their Hands, Heaven in their Hearts” to Brazil!

We couldn’t have done it without you! Your support and prayers helped to make all of this possible!

Thank you for helping to make this a Christmas that so many families will never forget!
