Team Season 2012

Posted: October 12, 2012 in Teams

As our team season comes to a close, we would like to thank all those who came to Thailand and served along side of us. We had some incredible teams this year! Many came to labor with the desire to meet the physical needs of the ministry, such as constructing a fence around our fish farm, building an addition onto our boys home, and fixing our sand volleyball court. Other teams focused on meeting the spiritual needs of those within Life Impact as well as in villages in the surrounding area. We hosted evangelistic outreaches to unreached villages, provided medical treatment, and distributed hygiene bags. Regardless of the roles each team played, everything they were a part of was done with excellence and lots of love. We are beyond honored and blessed to have shared our ministry with each person that visited. We pray that God blesses them greatly for the time, finances, and energy they invested into the Kingdom of God. We wait in great expectation for what God will do in the  2013 team season!

Here is a glimpse into what life looks like here at Life Impact on the Thailand/Burma border.

We are so blessed to have a mission team from Abundant Living Family Church here for the next week. Keep them in your prayers while they are serving the Lord in Thailand. During their trip, they will be working in one of the refugees camps (On February 23 a fire swept through the refugee camp destroying homes and displacing thousands of people. Read more about it here.); rebuilding homes; joining the dump ministry to do skits and play games with the kids; teaching bible studies, playing games, and loving on the Life Impact children; as well as doing outreaches in local villages. They have a full schedule, but are excited to see what God has in store for them and those they minister to throughout the week.

Team members: Kelvin, Cherly, Vincent, Bryana, Mary Anne, Elsa, Monique, Catherina, Norma, Jasmine.

We are also very excited to welcome Marty Vasquez, Lana’s father, who is here for one week. Praise God for this time that Lana will be able to spend with her dad and pray that it will be blessed!
